Hillel By-Laws Amendments

Welcome to the Hillel By-Laws Amendment Site!

This web site contains all the infromation you need to review and understand the proposed changes to Hillel's By-Laws. A committee of parents has worked hard over the last year to draft a set of By-Laws that will give Hillel the structure it needs to operate effectively and thrive. But passage of the Amended By-Laws depends on you — the By-Laws won't be approved unless two-thirds of the voting members are in favor of the change. As a Hillel member, you deserve access to all the information you need to make your decision. This web site is here to help you understand what is being proposed and why.

In the links below, you will see the current By-Laws and the proposed By-Laws for you to read and review. The By-Laws is a complex document, so we have prepared a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document to explain the major changes to the By-Laws more directly. The FAQ also explains the rationale behind these decisions.
